As members of the Volumes loyalty card scheme you are the first people to hear the very exciting news from Volumes.  After 10 years of bookselling in Bell Street we are on the move to a new location within the town, the new development next to Waitrose, Latimer Walk.

We are really excited about the move and can see that it will help secure the future of Volumes in Romsey for many years to come.  The threat of Waterstones a couple of years ago really how vulnerable we would be to a national chain opening up in the town.  However, with our new location we feel that anyone wanting to come to Romsey to sell books will have second thoughts.  

We can also reassure you that we will be striving to provide you with the same excellent service, holding the same variety of events and selling the same great range of books just all from a new location. 

The development is still being finished and it is hoped that we will get the keys to the building at the end of June.  Then the hard work will begin of moving from Bell Street and taking all the books and shelving with us!  As a result, we will be closing Bell Street once we are in a position to move and then hope to be re-open again approximately a week or so later. However, our online bookshop www.volumesbookshop.co.uk will remain open all the time as well as our phone number.  Therefore, if you really do need to get that book then we will still do our best to get hold of it for you.
